Thank you for your interest in our Introduction to Basic Engineering Measurements workshop. 
 

Please note that the structure and duration of the course is on an introductory theoretical and practical level in order to build proficiency in the accurate use of measurement tools.
 

The following daily programme can be expected for the course:
 

08:30 - 08:45     Registration

08:45 - 08:55     Welcome and Introductions
08:45 - 10:30     Training Session 1
10:30 - 11:00     Break 
11:00 - 13:00     Training Session 2
13:00 - 13:30     Break 
13:30 - 15:00     Training Session 3
15:00 - 15:15     Break 
15:15 - 16:15     Training Session 4
16:15 -               Closing and departure

 
Topics to be covered include:
 

·        Introduction and overview Steel Rule,

·        Engineering Square and Steel tape

·        Vernier Measuring Tools

·        Micrometers

·        The Vernier Bevel Protractor

·        Dial Gauge Indicator

·        Introduction to measurement accessories 

Assessment

This course includes an assessment to confirm competence.  The activities and practical exercises presented during the session will prepare you for this assessment.
 

Registration Process
 

Once we receive your registration, we will issue you with a Client Capture Form and a Quotation.  You will need complete and sign the form and the quotation and return the completed documents to us.  Please note that a legible coy of your ID must accompany these forms.  We can only generate and invoice once we receive these signed documents from you.  The invoice will include all the information you need to make payment.  We will require proof of payment before we can allow you access to the course.

3.    23 October 2024 (Registration close 7 October 2024)
